A major upgrade to this historic building on the banks of the River Thames has transformed it into one of London’s most luxurious hotels.
The project saw us undertake full design of the mechanical and electrical services for the refurbishment of the 210 guestrooms and circulation corridors. This involved the upgrade of HVAC systems, domestic pipe work services, introduction of energy efficient lighting and improved automatic (BMS) controls.
In addition, a thermal model analysis has been carried out to improve the building’s energy efficiency through passive methods, introducing secondary glazing to this Grade 2 listed building. Services had to be co-ordinated within existing structure and within existing riser openings
